First Edition Espresso - Brazil/Colombia
A delicious espresso blend, full of rich chocolate, caramel, and gentle plum fruit notes. Perfect for espresso or as the base to any milk drink. Equally suited to a home machine or busy coffee shop. First Edition will be your go-to coffee.
A combination of naturally processed Brazillian coffee from Ribeirao Corrente to give body and chocolate notes, alongside a flavorsome washed Colombian coffee from Narino to give complimentary fruit notes.
Each coffee in First Edition could be enjoyed on its own, but together is where the magic happens bringing sweetness and balance.
First Edition is roasted to be forgiving. The first place to start is with a traditional recipe - 18g of coffee to 36g of espresso in 28-32 seconds.
Our personal recipe is 19g of coffee to 40g of espresso in 30 seconds to bring the fruit notes out.

This coffee is farmed by the sixth generation of coffee growers. Lucas Lancha de Oliveira opted to follow in his parents’ footsteps studying agriculture and becoming an agronomist. This experience proved of great value to the family business. Lucas brought the dynamism of his military service and combined that with the knowledge gained from his studies which contributed greatly towards the unique chocolate, cocoa and milky qualities in his coffee, making it remarkable and distinct.

Although this area has several economic activities such as avocado and cattle rearing, coffee is the main activity. The coffee producers have dedicated these last years to working their coffee with detail and organization, achieving great quality coffees and acquiring consistency year after year. Another important factor is their production of coffee with a profound respect for the environment and conservation of the nature surrounding their farms.
