The Hario Mizudashi Cold Brew Coffee Maker is the easiest way to enjoy cold brew coffee at home from Hario; simply fill in the filter cone with your favourite coffee, add room temperature spring water into the pot and stir the top grounds to let the coffee soak into the water fully. Once the coffee grounds are wet, store the cold brew pot in the refrigerator and leave it for at least 8 hours. Then, take the mesh filter out and drain it.

Guide to making Cold Brew:
There are many ways to make cold brew coffee but after lots of experimentation, we believe we have come up with a winner. As you may want to add water, milk or tonic to your coffee, we prefer to make a high strength brew and dilute afterwards. We chose 100g of coffee to 900g of water - but as long as you keep to a 1g of coffee for every 9g of water you will be fine. You can then dilute as you wish. We found diluting 1 part coffee to 3 parts water worked perfectly with cold water or tonic.
A few key tips
Cold brew coffee works best with a course grind. Like little boulders. If you arent able to grind to this level, we are happy to grind for you.
